Announcing Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU80

in Oracle Solaris Installation, Booting and Patching (MOSC)

We've just released the Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU80, the April 2025 CPU.

It is available via 'pkg update' from the support repository or by downloading the SRU from My Oracle Support Doc ID 2433412.1.

The following components have been updated to address security issues:

  • Apache Tomcat to 9.0.102
  • BIND to 9.18.33
  • Firefox to 128.8.0esr
  • Golang to 1.23.7
  • Jinja2 to 3.1.6
  • PHP to 8.3.19
  • Thunderbird to 128.8.0esr
  • openssl 1.0.2 to 1.0.2zl
  • openssl-3 to 3.0.16
  • utility/python & utility/ruby

The timezone data has been updated to 2025b
