iRecruitment "Reset Password" and "Signon Password Custom" Profile Option

We are running Oracle EBS version 12.2.12

We have implemented custom password complexity rules using this note: "How to Implement Signon Password Custom Profile Option in EBS 11i / R12 (Doc ID 362663.1)".

Since implementing the custom password requirements the passwords generated by the iRecruitment "Reset Password" link do not meet the custom password checks and as a result the system is not changing the external users' passwords successfully.

My question is: "Is the iRecruitment "Reset Password" compatible with the "Signon Password Custom" functionality?"
