Is it possible to split Unifier database to two instances?

Ask is, one customer is looking for migration from on-prem to SaaS, but they have projects based on different business units and while migrating to cloud they want to have two separate Unifier instances based on business units.

Is it possible to split data based on business units?

If yes, what would be the approach? i.e. database export after filtering data and import to cloud Unifier database?
