How to apply a unified driver in EBS R12.2.10?

Hello,

We have an issue and found a MOS direct hit to apply a patch. Below is the instruction to apply this patch. 

This patch contains the following unified driver file to be applied withAutoPatch: uxxxxxxxx.drv (This is the unified driver)

Question: Will this patch be applied as normal using the ADOP cycle "adop phase=apply patches=<patch_number>" or with a different method? Please advise?
