Update Locator Capacity program during transaction hours

Can we run the update locator capacity program when warehouse is in operations?

Is there any chance this program can create lock and impact operations?

Recently we have faced an issue where none of the LPNs were allowed to be dropped with error message "All Consolidation Locators Are Full. Drop Anyway?" and further checking found the update locator capacity program executed for more than 2 hours.
