Customizing Catalog Search using open ui

Hi ,

I'm trying to make customization for siebel catalog search , this applet is based on Dummy BC and the results displayed in the child applet so i change it to custom form which invoke custom bs and display the results like (product name , part# … etc) is there anyway to display the results in the child vanilla applet ? and how can i invoke Add Item or AddToCart using open ui ?
