Impact of HR Profile Changes on Purchasing and Finance Processes in Shared HRMS

Hello Oracle Community,

We are currently working on an integration issue related to employee assignment updates via API, and we’ve been advised by the Oracle HCM team to disable two specific HR profile options in our shared HRMS environment:

  • DateTrack: Enabled
  • HR: Enable DTW4 Defaulting

Before proceeding with these changes, we need to confirm with the P2P/Finance teams whether disabling these profiles will have any impact on existing or future P2P transactions. Specifically, we are looking for confirmation that:

  1. Disabling these HR profiles will not affect the flow of P2P transactions.
  2. There are no dependencies in P2P functionality that rely on these HR profiles.
