Profile Management Notifications not appearing in Notifications/Alerts pagelet

After upgrading to PUM51 (from 41), the notifications generated by Profile Management are not appearing on the Notifications area on the Manager Home Page. Approvals are required when end users add profile items. The approval is routed to the "ByReportsToPosition". The approvals are active and do work as desired. The notifications are just not appearing on the home page. Thank you!
