How to research a QuickFill/Combo Code that failed to work in payroll distribution for Absence Take?

We are on HCM 9.2.49, PT 8.60.

Some of our users apply accounting information to Absence Events (Takes) by using a QuickFill entry that ties to a specific combo code. This is delivered functionality. For reasons I do not fully comprehend, neither the QuickFill identifier (label) nor Combo Code number carries forward to display in TL (on timesheet). So even though the user did properly submit funding information via the QuickFill it does not appear any funding information was entered if you examine their timesheet only. You can only verify if a QuickFill was entered by looking at the Absence
