Sales order line backorder issue

Hi All,

We recently upgraded our JDE to 9.2.9.2 and post upgrade we are facing an issue with the backorder status.

At the time of order creation if we do not have quantity on hand the order line will move to backorder status where Next status will be 540, Last status will be 900 and Backorder quantity will be 1.

Now, after the quantity is made available user will go in the order details manually assign the item with serial number to this line and save it. When we do this in earlier version the last status was changing to 520 but since upgrade the last status remains 900 however the backorder quantity does become zero allowing this order to be processed.
