When updated receipt method name with the creation method is automatic issue with receipt creation

We have updated receipt method name in AR where creation method is automatic . When we ran ACH programs receipt creation process failed with the following error

Receipt creation failed.
1. .Document sequence does not exist for the current document even though profile option Sequential Number to Partially Used.

2. .Please enter a receipt number.

We verified in Document sequence changed name is automatically reflected .

Does name change in receipt method in this case not supported?
