How often should the TDE master key be changed?

I’m a DBA using Oracle 11.2.0.3 EE. We are utilizing TDE and VPD, with TDE implemented at the tablespace level to encrypt specific tablespaces where tables requiring encryption are stored and used. We have created a wallet for TDE and have never changed the master key. The security team is inquiring about how often the master key should be changed, and I’m curious about the recommended frequency for changing the master key. What is the impact of changing it?
