How to know the position of the button on the applet

Dear Experts,

We are currently working with

Siebel version 20.12, and have encountered a question regarding button placement in applets.

While adding a new applet and configuring buttons, we’re unable to determine definitively whether a button will appear on the left or right side of the applet based on its item identifier. For example:

In the first attached screenshot, the "Search" button (item 131) appears on the right side.

In the second screenshot, the same "Search" button (item 109) appears on the left side.

Is there a way to identify which items correspond to the left or right side? Any guidance on how to control button placement would be greatly appreciated.
