ABS BGN DATE system element is not giving correct absence start date for current calendar period

Dear All,

I am working on formula to calculate LWOP duration which is not based on absence event completely, I need to refer only absence start date from absence event and if there is no return from leave record available in Job data then deduction should happen for extra days. My formula is working fine for retro events where absence start date is from past calendar however ABS BGN DATE system element is not giving correct absence start date if there is any unpaid leave request submitted in current calendar period.
