R12.2.10 Can we run MRP and ASCP in different Inventory Orgs within a single Operating Unit?

We have received mixed messages if we can run MRP and ASCP in different inventory orgs that reside within a single operating unit. Is this possible? Is anyone doing this and can provide experiences and lessons learned?

Currently we have a single OU, within that 1 OU we have 20 Inventory Organizations most are running MRP. We have 2 inventory orgs which are very different from the others and would benefit from some ASCP features, but the other inv orgs are fine with MRP and do not want any change. Supply/demand between the orgs is insignificant.

Can we enable ASCP for just the 2 inv org, and leave the rest running MRP??
