How can we overcome the AR Transaction screen field limitation for "Trx Number"?

Dear Experts,

I hope this message finds you well.

We are currently facing a limitation with the AR Transaction screen, specifically with the "Trx Number" field. This field does not support storing data beyond 20 bytes, which is insufficient for our business requirements. We need to store transaction numbers longer than this limit.

Could you please advise if there is a way to extend this field's capacity or suggest an alternative approach to accommodate longer data?
