Need to hide certain regions in Extended Absence Request History page

Hello,

We have a need to hide following regions from the employee's side of Extended absence view. I have come across following note outlining the how-to steps to do the same. This involves Application Designer level change. My question is which records I need to modify and more importantly, how can I hide these regions using AD?

How can I achieve this using Application Designer? Please advise. Thanks, Darsh
