RTF Template to split to multiple sheets (Since Excel template has restriction of 1000 tags limit)

Hi All,

I’m working on a requirement to generate an Excel output with multiple sheets using an RTF template in Oracle BI Publisher. The goal is to split the report data across different sheets based on a grouping or logical separation.

I’ve explored a few options so far:

  • Using BI Publisher split tags and Page Breaks these work when opening the output in modern Excel, but do not work in the Excel 2000 format, which is what Oracle uses internally for Excel outputs.
  • I also tried creating an Excel template (XLS) to handle sheet separation. However, I ran into the
