Changing Data Sources for Various Apps

Hi,

We're using VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and IBM VM recovery manager to failover applications to our disaster recovery site. We're encountering an issue where applications in the DR environment are unable to connect to the database due to a different SCAN (Single Client Access Name).

We need guidance on updating database connection configurations/data sources for the following applications after failover:

  • Oracle WebCenter
  • Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
  • Oracle Hyperion
  • Oracle Analytics
  • Oracle Access Manager (OAM)
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager
  • Oracle SOA Suite

Is it standard for all apps above to change data sources from weblogic console>services>data sources since all run on weblogic?
