Mismatch Between Asset Retirement and GL Posting User – Request for Investigation

Hi Team,

Am facing below issue Oracle EBS Can you please anyone suggest how this possible?

• The asset retirement was done by User A, who has the proper FA access.
• But the GL journal was created/posted by User B, who has no access to Fixed Assets or posting processes others books,

How is that even possible?

I've performed some analysis from my end and confirmed that the user in question does not have any responsibilities assigned for posting in the relevant asset books—not even a single access. Despite this, the GL entry is showing this user's ID.

I would like to understand how this is functionally possible. If needed, I’m prepared to raise a Service Request (SR) with Oracle. Please advise on the appropriate next steps.
