How do I safely restart osysmond.bin on linux

Hi community
I am running grid 19.16.0.0 on oel7. I have a process(osysmond.bin) running as root, which consumes a high amount of CPU.
It looks like that process can be restarted with "crsctl stop/start res ora.crf -init" Is it safe to stop and start the process using this method without impacting GRID or the associated one-node RAC database on that server?

Howdy, Stranger!
