Deleting or cancelling shipment line for a rejected PO

Hi Team ,

We have a PO which was approved once and then the quantity is updated leading to revision update and user submits for approval . The PO is rejected citing to reduce the quantity . Now when trying to cancel or delete the shipment line getting the error "Please undo the changes in current revision". Please provide a workaround or process to correct the PO
