Can a process hang up because of kpucpincrtime?

Our system runs on Solaris 11 and uses the Oracle 19 database server with the Oracle client 18. The system has tens of processes written in C++. Some time ago, one process hung up: it stopped responding to incoming requests or timer invocations and ceased writing to its log. Thread dumps with pstack were the same, and all threads appeared to be idle. One thread (# 102) contained a call to kpucpincrtime, waiting on nanosleep. Since then, the process was restarted, and further runtime investigation is not possible. The repeatability of the issue is not known; it seems as a rare or single event. The
