How to manually add assets to the fixed asset module without GL impact?

Is there a way to manually add assets and respective accumulated depreciation thus far in the Fixed Asset Module without any journal entries being created in the GL?  If so, how would one go about doing this? Just for context, the assets and depreciations have already been recognized in the GL in the appropriate periods. The accounting system used is Oracle E-Business Suite. 12.2.11
