What is best practice when rejecting an applicant that is in the "Hired" disposition?
If an applicant has accepted a posted position, is pushed thru the Manage Hire bucket and is future/current hire in PeopleSoft Job Data, what is best practice to later reject the applicant if they later choose to not accept the position or does not show up on their start date?
- We can "Reject" the applicant on the Manage Job Opening page using the "Reject" button on that applicant grid. The benefits of rejecting the applicant at this point is we can enter a reason for the reject status. The disadvantage of rejecting the applicant at the Manage Job Opening page is that the status remains "020 Accept" on the Job Offer page.
