Procedure to Combine Two Companies (Absorption) in JDE 9.2 – Finance & Distribution Modules
We are currently using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 with the Finance and Distribution modules implemented.
Our organization is planning a legal entity merger where Company 00001 will absorb Company 00002, effective from a specific date. Following this, Company 00002 will cease to operate, and all financial and operational transactions will be handled under Company 00001.
We are seeking recommended approach and best practices to carry out this merger within JD Edwards. Specifically, we would like guidance on the following points:
- Steps and tools available in JDE 9.2 to consolidate company master data and transactional data (GL, AR, AP, Inventory, etc.).
