Backup/Recovery Strategy for Multitenant using RMAN

Hello,

Currently running on ODA8-2 machines, linux 7, oracle enterprise DB 19.17, RAC in bare-metal 2 node configuration and multitenant.

Our primary databases are on one system and our standby database (DR) are on another system. We backup using our standby databases for better performance. Looking for direction/ideas/documentation on a backup strategy (level 0 & 1) using RMAN on a standby database (CDB) to backup PDB's. I'm able to backup the entire CDB but the requirement is to backup each PDB separately so we can restore each PDB separately because we'll have 70-80 PDBs. The current issue is we can not connect to a standby PDB, only the CDB.
