Is there any difference between a 32-bit and a 64-bit PAR file for the same object?

We are upgrading from 9.2.5.5 to 9.2.8.5 and doing the 64-bit conversion (finally). Our DV environment has been converted to 64-bit while PY and PD are still 32-bit. Is there any real difference between a 32-bit and a 64-bit PAR file for the same object?
