Chrome-Specific Date & Time Formatting Issue in PeopleSoft

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing a strange date/time format issue in PeopleSoft that only happens when using Google Chrome. Testing in other browsers (e.g. Edge, Firefox) and at the OS level shows correct formatting, but Chrome consistently shows incorrect information:

  • Dates are swapping month and day (e.g. “8/7/25” instead of “7/8/25”).
  • Time is displayed in 24-hour (military) format instead of 12-hour.
  • The first day of the week appears as Tuesday rather than Monday.

This misconfiguration affects all date/time data across the user’s Peoplesoft interface—paychecks, schedules, daily functions, etc. I’ve already tried resetting:

  • BIOS clock
  • Windows regional and time settings
