First Responder Wins Voting Method Not Working for Internet Expense Approvals

Problem Statement:
We have configured an approval group with Voting Method set to “First Responder Wins” in Oracle AME for Internet Expense approvals. However, the approval workflow is requiring approval from all listed approvers instead of completing upon the first approver’s response.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Navigate to AME and create an approval group with Voting Method: First Responder Wins.
2. Configure an AME rule for Internet Expenses using this approval group.
3. Submit an Internet Expense report.
4. Observe that the approval notifications go to all approvers, and approval does not complete upon first response.

Upon first approver’s approval
