How do we know that job running in subsystem is working

Hi,

There is an inventory commitment job which is running in subsytem (Queue=QSUBSYS and status =P) as per work submitted jobs. The orders are not processing as they should be when the subsytem job process them. How do we know that the subsystem job is actually running and processing the data or just hung but showing as processing. How do we troubleshoot if it is hung but showing as processing and how to fix it.
