Announcing Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU83

We've just released the Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU83, the July 2025 CPU.

It is available via 'pkg update' from the support repository or by downloading the SRU from My Oracle Support Doc ID 2433412.1.

The following components have been updated to address security issues:

  • Apache Tomcat to 9.0.105
  • Firefox to 128.11.0esr
  • MySQL to 8.4.5
  • Thunderbird to 128.11.0esr
  • Wireshark to 4.4.7
  • c-ares to 1.34.5
  • libexpat to 2.7.1
  • libarchive to 3.7.9
  • perl to 5.38.4
  • python to 3.13.4
  • squid to 6.13
  • suricata to 7.0.10
  • utility/screen
