Is there an order status (PO) between receipt and complete?

We're in 9.2.9.3. Users are requesting that PO's can be updated to a status between received and complete that would indicate that items had been picked up by maintenance after they have been received. Does anyone know if this is possible? Part of the problem we are trying to resolve is lack of visibility on items that are bought direct charge (not set up in master or item/branch) since there is no info in purchasing ledger on the movement of these items - once received they're considered issued to the work order and any items returned to
