AME GL approval notification is being sent to approver's manager after 7 days time out

Hi,

We have seen an issue where AME GL approval notifications are going to approver's manager if journal is not approved within 7 days time limit. The approver's manager is not part of AME approval process and he doesn't even has access to GL in Oracle. This is happenining only for 2 GL categories and happened only 5-6 times in the past. We have not made any change the the process in recent time. Is there any other possibility wht this can happen?
