Waitlist Enrollment Capacity

Hi,

I’m working on setting up Waitlisting in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and need some guidance.

Use Case:
All students should initially be added to the waitlist, and then, after running the waitlist process, eligible students should be automatically enrolled in the class.

However, I’m facing an issue:

• The waitlist process doesn't work unless the Enrollment Capacity is greater than 0.
• When Enrollment Capacity = 0, the class is considered closed, and students cannot join the waitlist.
• If I set Enrollment Capacity > 0, students get enrolled directly, bypassing the waitlist.
• If I set Enrollment Capacity = 1, students can be waitlisted, but:
  • The waitlist process doesn't enroll students
