What is best way to get the accrual right in Absence Mgmt for 1 hour leave for 30 hours of time
My colleagues - I am asking the group to provide feedback as many states are getting ready to implement US State Leave accruals that are based on authorized hours be it T&L work or Abs Mgt leave. As Benefit Leave is being replaced by Absence Mgt, I am asking for feedback on the best perceived way to go back upstream from Payroll to Absence post Payroll processing. I apologize if this is not making sense, so let m explain further.
Benefit Leave Accruals runs after Payroll is confirmed, and Payroll collects and tallies all work and leave reported. Payroll is confirmed, and so all hours are processed and validated, so when Leave Accruals is ran, the calculation of for every 30 hours added to the balance, a one hour balance entitlement is granted. Remember, this is Benefit after Payroll.
