In EAM, What is the impact of account codes defined in Costing tab, Purchasing tab at Master Org

Hi,
In EAM, the Asset Activity is based on a Key Flexfield (KFF) and is defined at the Item Master level in the Master Organization, then assigned to the EAM Organization.

Could anyone please clarify the following:

  1. What is the impact of account codes defined under the Costing and Purchasing tabs at the Master Organization level?
  2. What is the expected value of the COSTING_ENABLED_FLAG for the Asset Activity?
  3. What are the main attributes required to define Activity.
