Why Material Transaction Distribution is zero?

We are in EBS 12.2.6

Various inventory transactions like Misc Issue, Misc Receipt, etc have happened.

Material Transaction Distribution displays zero value against both expense account and inventory valuation account, in those transactions.

We observed accounting has not happened for Cost Management as well.

Since cost is not uploaded for the item, unit cost is zero.

Is it that unit cost is zero, so inventory valuation account is zero, and accounting has not happened?

Later cost is updated for the item. Ran Create Accounting - Cost Management, but there are no eligible transactions to fix

Will cost not reflect on old transactions?
