How to add new asset book for new Operating Unit OR against certain segment of GL COA e.g. Division?

Hi All,

There is need to open new asset book for the business against a specific location. It is already separated as other/new Operating Unit. This business of new location is also segregated in gl coa as a balancing segment (i.e. 2nd segment of GL KFF, named as DIVISION).

  1. Now please advice the best practice: either to open new asset book with respect to respective Operating Unit or with respect to balancing segment?
  2. How to add new asset book?
