Issue with duplicate SIP Registrations

Hello Community,

We are experiencing an issue regarding the registration of surrogate agents, which is causing authentication failures for some SIP INVITEs.

The SBC (SCZ9.3.0 Patch 2 (Build 98)) is randomly encrypting the user portion of the SIP CONTACT header in some REGISTER messages. This is causing the IPBX to interpret these as registrations from different devices, leading to duplicate entries in its registration database.

Subsequently, some INVITE requests are failing to authenticate successfully because of this discrepancy.

Troubleshooting Performed:

1. Registered both surrogate agents.

2. Unregistered both surrogate agents.

3. Performed new registrations.

Observed Behavior:

In some of the REGISTER/UNREGISTER cycles, the USER portion of the CONTACT header was encrypted with a randomized string, while in other cycles, it was sent in a clear text format(in the UNREGISTER is always clear text). The IPBX saved these different entries, which we believe is the root cause of the subsequent authentication failures.

Howdy, Stranger!
