Employee Negative Gross/Tax Adjustment Interims not updating F06136 during final update

We have situations where an employee may have been charged against the wrong job casuing incorrect taxes to repsective tax areas/types. We understand Vertex will not compute negative taxes. Our payroll team keys these a positive interims to get the calculated gross/taxes, deletes the positive interim and re-keys the interims with negative amounts. When we run these negative gross/tax interims through final update, the tax adjustments don't seem to be updating the F06136 for the adjusted amounts.

How do other clients handle the necessity to key negative gross/tax adjustments? Do you have issues with F06136 updating appropriately?
