Unable to boot a non global zone

in Oracle Solaris Virtualization (LDOM and ZONES) (MOSC) 11 commentsAnswered

Hello

Following problems with a zone that no longer responded (no ssh or zlogin) i had to shutdown this zone

Only now i can't nstart it anymore and i get the following error messages :

zoneadm -z xxxxxxxx boot

zoneadm: zone 'xxxxxxxx': devfsadm call (/usr/sbin/devfsadm -z xxxxxxxx) unexpectedly returned 1
zoneadm: zone 'xxxxxxxx': call to zoneadmd failed

/usr/sbin/devfsadm -z xxxxxxxx

devfsadm: repository or name service failure for zone xxxxxxxx: No such file or directory
