Guidance Required on Recompiling Oracle Client JARs with Java 21 for Siebel Patchset 25.7

Hello Siebel Experts,

We are in the process of applying Siebel Patchset 25.7, and we understand that Java 21 is shipped as part of this patchset.

As part of our upgrade preparation, we have recompiled our custom JAR files using Java 21 to ensure compatibility. However, we also have several JAR files that are part of the Oracle client libraries, which we had previously copied into the Siebel path. These include:

• jta.jar
• jndi.jar
• jmscommon.jar
• aqapi.jar
• xdb.jar
• orai18n.jar
• ojdbc8.jar

We would like to confirm whether these Oracle-provided JARs also need to be recompiled with Java 21, or if they are already compatible and supported as-is within the context of Patchset 25.7.
