Seeking Guidance on Java Code Signing for EBS 12.2.10

I’m working on code signing for Java/JAR files in EBS 12.2.10 but haven’t found much documentation or support on this. Has anyone here dealt with this before?

According to Doc ID 1591073.1, the process requires upgrading the EBS code level and applying est. 20-30 patches (~2-3 days of workload)

My concern is such system upgrade could impact system stability, so I’d like to confirm if this procedures are truly mandatory before proceeding it.

Additionally, I also need to sign the Java/JARs using a Comodo Code Signing USB dongle, but it's not much information as well.

If anyone has experience with this setup, especially in an EBS environment, could you share your experience or provide any guidance to handle this?
