R3482 PRP GIVING INCORRECT PLANNING MESSAGES FOR PURCHASED ITEMS IN CONFIGURATOR

We have a configured item generating an O message correctly based on the work order parts list demand. If the qty. on the OP is modified and processed, the MRP run will not generate a Decrease Qty. message. Adversely, if the work order parts list qty. is increased, we will receive in increase message correctly.

Why is the decrease message being ignored?
