Segmentation due to TAX_LOCATION_CD change mid-period sets "OK to Pay" = N on Additional Pay line
We are on PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Payroll for North America.
When an employee has a mid-period job data change that updates TAX_LOCATION_CD, payroll segmentation occurs as expected. The Additional Pay (ADDL_PAY) is split across the two segments. However, we have observed that the payline for the new segment is generated with "OK to Pay" unchecked (OK_TO_PAY = N).
This results in the employee being underpaid for half of their Additional Pay, even though the ADDL_PAY record itself still reflects the full amount. We were able to replicate this consistently:
- Insert a new Job row mid-period with only a TAX_LOCATION_CD change.
