Is it possible to configure OTM planning to use multi-legs with the same type of equipment?

in Oracle Transportation Management (MOSC) Question 

In our business, we have the following situation:We have a release that will be transported from point A to point B and from point B to point C.From point A to point B, the transport will be done by road truck, using a carrier.From point B to point C, the transport will also be done by road truck, but this second leg will be used by a different carrier.Is it possible to configure OTM planning so that two shipments are created, one for the first leg and one for the second?
