Why System has transfer invoice price variance of previous year to inventory in current period

Why system has transfer invocie price variance of previous years to inventory A/c in current period. We had a transaction of previous years Oct-23 in which invoice price variance was created and was not transferred to inventory in respective month/year. However we have been running standard request of "Transfer Invoice Variance to Inventory Valuation" each month.

In last month Jul-25, when we had run the request of "Transfer Invoice Variance to Inventory Valuation" system has transferred this variance in the month of Jul-25. I am attaching reports for more clearity.

Why system has transferred this variance in July-25 and not in previous respective period/year?
