Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi,

on 19.26 C on AIX

I want use the rman backup of prod CDB to duplicate on dev CDB.

Should I put pod PDB on read_only mode during backup to avoid following error?

ORA-19729: File 257 is not the initial version of the plugged in datafile
