Anyone having problem with the prepatch report hanging on Validate ILOM server reachable?

While patching x8-2s to 19.27 and now to 19.28 the following command hangs:

odacli create-prepatchreport -s -v 19.28.0.0.0

It hangs at at:

"Validate ILOM server reachable Running"

I found an article online that has you disable and enable the interconnect using this command (which pushed the prepatch to finish and succeed):

ilomconfig disable interconnect

ilomconfig enable interconnect

I'm sharing this in case anyone else runs into this or in case their is a better fix for this.
